Manchester Rovers FC are looking for new players to build and improve our 3 team squad.

The Club is based in the centre of Manchester .  We are an 11 a side football team with a squad of 45 players in the age range 18 to 38 years old with an average age of 26.  We have 3 teams at present.  There is one team which plays on Saturday afternoons and is entered into the Lancashire & Cheshire Amatuer Football League.  This team plays it's home matches at the University Sports Ground on Willenhall Road, Wythenshawe.  On Sundays, the first team is entered into the Manchester Publicity Sunday League Division 1 which consists of 10 teams.  The second team is entered into the Manchester Amateur Sunday Football League Division 2.  Both leagues and all teams entered therein are affiliated with the Manchester County FA .  The Sunday teams play their home games at Hough End playing fields on Princess Road , Manchester .

The squad trains on Thursday nights between 9:00 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Trinity Sports Centre, Higher Cambridge Street , Manchester , near the Universities.  It is best to arrive at 8:45pm to be ready to start at 9pm.  We do not allow studded footwear or sliding tackles on the astro turf surface for safety reasons.  For a map click here

This is to ensure every player is ready on the pitch in plenty of time before kick off at 11 a.m. and that the teams can be selected based on who is there.  

Manchester Rovers have a constitution for players and spectators to abide by.  The constitution outlines annual subscriptions and additional subscriptions which are required to join the club.  It also explains how Manchester Rovers wants players to conduct themselves both on or off the pitch.  To see the constitution and codes of conduct click here
